FAMILY HISTORY:
Charles E. Wilbanks (Senior) married Myrtle Neel Rogers (1895-1974). His family was originally from Louisiana. Believe the family moved to Texas and/or Oklahoma. He graduated from Baylor Univ. and received a doctor of theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. In 1934, received on honorary doctorate degree from Oklahoma Baptist University.
“His pasterates included churches in Ardmore, Mangum, McAlister and Stillwater” all in Oklahoma, and in Texas and Louisiana. He died in Waco, Texas.
