Note: There is a list of the officers of the "Red Men's Street Fair and Fourth of July Celebration Association" inside. One advertiser call the week, "Carnival Week." The first, second, and third days (Tues-Thurs) is dedicated to the Union Labor, Woodmen, and Knights of Pythias. The fourth day (Firday) is dedicated to the City of Lawton and Red Men's Day, where the "Big Red Men's Parade" starts out the festivities. Tthe fifth day is dedicated to Odd Fellows Day and Sunday to the A.O.U.W.
Pat Timberlake was a speech therapist for the Lawton Public School system in 1980. In 1978, she worked for Wichita Mountains RESC. Her husband was in the military.
