Sutton concerning the weapons. There are also (2) posters. The loan was originally presented to the Museum by Gordon and Elisabeth Engeler; then photographed by Steve Wilson.
The collection of weapons were originally put together by Fred E. Sutton between 1900-1929. Sutton lived in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a US marshall in I.T. before Oklahoma became a state. Most of the letters in the collection are addressed to R.C. Jenkins, another collector and historian.
